    Dash bezel screw clips

They sit on the right and left side at the rear wheel house, behind the back seat when there is a non fold-down rear seat. Maybe a little hard to see from the picture, but if you look closely there is one there. // Thomas

    Need transmission mechanic

Please show a picture on the bracket between the shift lever and the transmission. Should be a big hole in it where the shaft for the reverse lock should fit. If you have the wrong bracket that hole can be missing and you may not get the shifter in reverse gear. // Thomas

I have 351c frame mounts and Fairlane block mounts. I know my engine is resting slightly higher than the org 429th But I can not have the engine lower because if i do so the oil pan hits the cross member and the center link hits the oil pan when I turn. I have a Cobra alu oil pan Which is a...

    Different master cylinder

I must take this opportunity to thank for the tip about the Bronco II MC! I've been looking for an MC who could fit, my problem was that the brake fluid reservoir on the original master cylinder was too large so the valve cover could not get into position. But all MC I've found have had the...

    Different master cylinder

HI ! I Have just installed a Bronco II Mc on my 71, but my push rod in the booster was flat in the end, While Broncos MC requires a push rod with a ball on the end. Did you also have problems with that or is your booster newer? Know that the 73 model year have the ball on the push rod end. (I...

Oil pump problems on 351 C engine

If you are unsure of thumb method, remove the left (driver's side) valve cover, (cyl 5,6,7,8). when the rocker arms switches between exhaust / intake on cyl # 6 and the timing pointer is at TDC then you have compression / ignition on cyl # 1. / / Thomas

Oil pump problems on 351 C engine

I made a crank of an Allen screw that fits on the oil pump shaft. Then I usually take off the valve covers then I crank counterclockwise until it comes oil in the rocker arms. Then you've done what you can to avoid more damage. / / Thomas Just like this !!! // Thomas

Oil pump problems on 351 C engine

I would absolutely crank the oil pump manually to bring up the oil pressure before I mounted the distributor Because you have probably completely dry bearings, rocker arms, etc. in your engine. Also note that when the crankshaft is at TDC, it is not sure that it is cyl 1 That fires may also be...

    Soft brake pedal

A common mistake that people make when they mount disc brakes is that they mount brake calipers on the wrong sides, at least when it comes to single-piston calipers. with the result that you never get all the air out of the system. Then you have to pump a lot on the pedal before getting any...

    351 Cleveland 2V awful noise

If you have no oil pressure, it is very possible that the oil pump drive shaft has fallen into the oil pan when The distributor was removed. It Happens sometimes that the lock washer falls away from the oil pump shaft when the distributor is pulled up. // Thomas
