    Easy Grind .030?

Even Lowes or Home Depot should have Lincoln brand .023 wire in stock. Lincoln wire is pretty good stuff.

Finally Found A Strip Dominator but What Does This Mod Mean?

I honestly did not see any mods either but the $600 is a tough pill to swallow for a used part. The Blue Thunder intake is a great piece. I was pleased in my build of how good it pulled down low and never ran out of steam up top(6500).

    351c cam choice.

For a myriad of reasons, the camshaft bearings are nearly impossible to change with the engine still assembled and in the car. Unfortunately it needs to be pulled and stripped down for this procedure. I would also surmise that other issues remain to be unearthed inside your engine. The cam...

It made me cringe every time someone called my car a, "Mack 1".

Finally Found A Strip Dominator but What Does This Mod Mean?

Why are you searching for this particular manifold? Nostalgia reasons? Because there are arguably better intakes out there, brand new for less money.

Please explain. These replies are too vague without any data to back up your recommendations.

Has anyone heard of the FiTech PAC EFI unit?

I just purchased their $800 400hp GoStreet system and their Fuel Command Center for my F-100. It does not have timing control but I dont care. I have my distributor curved just the way I like it and I'm already running a MSD ignition. Backordered until the end of April! Holley is due to...

    Need a 5 speed please!

The Tremec TKO transmissions are considered heavy duty transmissions by todays standards and not considered a racing transmission. They have the same exact synchronizer blocker rings as a toploader 4-speed so you can expect similar shifting performance in it's stock configuration. If you try...

Ref to "my block is good" 01/27/16

On my new engine I did a few things to aid in cam/lifter break-in. I am using valve springs with 150lbs closed and 350lbs open. Custom Solid flat tappet camshaft was nitrited. Lifters were tool steel with EDM holes. I used Penzoil high mileage 10w30 and a bottle of Prolong additive. I...

    Need a 5 speed please!

From a guy who has rebuilt dozens of T-5's, unless you have a 302 in the car I advise against it. They just can't handle a lot of torque. A TKO Tremec is like a toploader with a 5th gear. They use the same exact brass synchronizer blocker rings and much of the same sized gears throughout. 1-...

    Clutch pedal

Did they replace the clutch? There are often a few issues when a diaphragm style pressure plate is used vs the original Long style.

    Dyno'd the new engine today

Here is the thread on the engine build. http://www.7173mustangs.com/thread-new-351c-build A summary of power producing parts in the engine would be: -.030" overbore Australian block. Australian 351c crank. - Stock connecting rods with good rod bolts, beams ground and shot peened. - Pistons...

    Dyno'd the new engine today

This morning I went to participate with the rest of our mustang club at a dyno day they held with the Mach 1. Was $50 for three pulls. I was curious to see how the new engine stacked up to my expectations. I was 1st in line and glad. Done quick. The car did really well. Even the operator...

Welcome. Have you been in contact with the MOCGB? (Mustang Owners Club of Great Brittan) They can be of some help.

    351C 4V running rough

Anyones guess until you tear into it. Printo-seal gaskets kinda suck anyways and there appears to be no valley pan gasket.

    351c cam choice.

A good balanced Cleveland does not seem to mind the higher rpm's. Way back when I had a C6 I installed 3.50 gears in my car and found no ill effects vs the 2.75's. I did it when I had it in England and regularly did 75-80 mph on the motorways. I never once wished I still had the 2.75's still...
