OK, I know it'll work with proper bellhousing, my question, is there a problem with the starter? Which one works?

Never installed hyd. roller cam before

B'out to pull the trigger on a Howards H.roller for a 4bbl Cleve. Is this installation any different than installing a flat tappet cam, dun that many times? All the crap, not from here, mentions "buttons", spacer bearings, distributor gear failures. I sent an email to Howies about the dist. gear...

This cam seems interesting and was wondering if anyone is using it as a strictly street cruser? Howards 233215-10 camshaft 270-278 a.d., 217-225@ .05, .571-.577 lift, 110 lsa-106 icl Hyd. roller. Did a search, no go.....j

    SB cam

OK cam guys, I came up with this street solid roller spec for a stock stroke 302 with AFR 165 heads for 9-10:1 cr range(450# over the nose beehives), shorties/ 2.25" exhaust. 110* LSA, 261* ad. dur., 229*@.05", .592" lift, .022" lash, installed/106* ICL. Looking for 2k rpm hiwy cruz, and 5800...

    Tremec Magnum 6 speed

I agree it's all about torque, traction would be a problem with a Cleveland and a close ratio 6sd/4.30 rear end and a 27" tire. On the other hand a sbf with 300 lbs torque and that setup might give that 408 Cleveland a race. The t56 seems perfect for a high winding modular. But I'm rambling...

    Tremec Magnum 6 speed

Good article, thanks. Ron Morris has adjustable motor mounts and cross member that's suppose to make the t56 fit first gen stangs. I have a stock 84 5.0/t5 and 3.70 rear in the 72 now. With well over 180k miles on them. Freeway cruz is fine, but don't like the spread between 5th and 4th on...

    Tremec Magnum 6 speed

Hey all, my 5spd starting to worry me. Weak model with many many miles. Like the gearing of the 6 speed. Couldn't find a post about this swap. Anyone try it. My concern is how much alteration to the tunnel, if any, and driveling angle change. Thanks...j
