Haha Stanglover, Love it totally.     My problem is L4-L5 compressed from Skydiving accident.   I manage it really good w/ targetted morning stretches. Not levelled car on a bad day makes it worst.   Thanks to stretching, I have maybe 5-10 bad days a year now.

The article listed by "mustang7173" makes a lot of sense. I am in electronic parts manu. The brds or leads coated/plated w/ gold is because it is a noble metal. So is platinum. WHAT THAT MEANS....these metals do not oxidize. So over the life of spark plug the surface will still be Platinum...

mine was running in 210 range. (even after using Robershaw thermostat; roding radiator etc) Pressure tested and found coolant leaks in heater core and water pump. by-passed heater core, replaced water pump w/ high flow pump. Still was a bit hot. replaced spark plugs as mentioned above...

Also, check if you have correct sparkplugs.....mine had Heat Rating 17. Just changed to Heat Rating 4 (spec is 5)....has helped a lot. suggest NGK6630 (reco by another member) Also, not all 351C thermostats are same. Try Robertshaw brand. Specifically designed for 351C.
