Anyone know if there is and/or who makes a push on style cap for the plug wires instead of the push in? I thought when I was in high school in the early 80's I had converted my '71 mach to this style. In fact I thought it also increased the circumference of the cap to the larger electronic style...

Well I pulled the top of the carb off this weekend to check the jets. Got them out no problem........I did a great job when I cleaned and rebuilt because they were spotless. Put it back together and played with the needles some.....still ran the same. Next I thought, I better check the firing...

I'll check the mains this weekend.......Good tip, when I was in there cleaning I could not get them out on the bench. Strapped to the car now may give me more torque so I should have better luck getting them out........thanks

No vacuum leak that I can detect, accelerator pump squirting nicely. I will check the timing and keep messing with the mixture screws. Thanks for the responces...... I'll keep trying. Please keep the suggestions coming, I appreciate them.........
