    First question is...what's the best way to repair the part of the door panel where you insert the door panel clips. Some of the clips have ripped whatever that backing is. I'm thinking glue maybe? Second question is...Why can't you use the "trunk access door latch assy". from a 1970 fastback...

    Thanks that helps a lot. Is there any reason why the drivers side piece (04393) is plastic and the passenger side is metal? Also thanks for IDing the other piece also, I couldn't find anything on it.

    I have part No. D1ZB-6504393, but I forgot where it goes and don't know what it would be called. I also have the plastic piece the goes in the door jamb, it looks like some sort of vent. Things like that.

    Hi Steve, I am also replacing my 8-track belt, but mine is 12.5",are you sure about yours being 13.5"? I don't want to order the wrong belt. Thanks for the link to finding a belt for it.

    Don't know the build date, but it left the Dearborn plant at 11:04 p.m., Sept. 15, 1970. Part number is C9ZA-7E034-C

    looking fo a small part

    I'm looking for a rear seat ash tray for my 1971 Mach 1. The one I have could be cleaned up, but the lid on the top of it is gone. Does anyone have one for sale that they don't need.

    Oddity?

    I was looking at shifter bezels for my 1971 Mach 1 and if I'm not mistaken my car came with a 1970 bezel. I've owned the car since 1972 and never replaced it, so I'm pretty sure that's how it came. Has anyone else come across this?

    I hope someone can help me. I have a 1971 Mach 1. I had the passenger fender replaced a long time ago. The fender didn't have a hole for the antenna. Can someone tell where the hole should be? Like how many inches from the edge of the fender.
