    Lost Oil Pressure

    sounds like main bearings to me if pressure comes back up after it cools down and then drops after warming up. If the car shut all the way down that's not good at all. How fast was you going when it shut off? I think if you had just a restriction your oil pressure wouldn't be going up and down...

    I got this crazy idea don't know yet though but I thought about a 4.6 or 5.4 mustang for mileage and cruising I don't know yet though. So I went on the local classifieds and sure enough there was a mechanically good 95 Cougar needs windsheild, paint, etc. runs and drives 600 bucks. Good donor...

    Just a thought but one time I was in a pinch for one and I got all my buddies vise grips and clamped them on each turn of the spring I had like a half dozen pairs on there and it worked fine! LOL just be careful if you do that it probably isn't the safest way. AD

    I was on here looking today and out the window came a 71 coupe new paint, cragars the works, nasa hood, wing sharp car and stopped at the neighbors it was a friend of mine and that really got me motivated to get mine going again. I shows up about once a week and man it is a nice car. AD
