well my son has been chipping it out , front crossmember ,bumper brackets packed with it ... to me it doesnt look like it was put there for any reason not confined to one area ,,, when i got car rf drum was missing and could see were car had dragged and wore backing plate flat ... possible wheel...

timing problem , i set timing hot without lite till starter has very slight drag when trying to start .get most power there ,just watch temp gauge can overheat

local ford dealer has a centering tool , to center valve and hold it while bleeding .. been there done that 25 year ford senior master tech ....

motor will set about 2 inches to low . put motor in bolted to tranny crossmember and u will see .. i put 429 in 73 fastback . had to move mounts onframe foward 1 inch and raise them 2 inches and was perfect ... used clevland frame mounts

if i saw that spider in there i would have lost it and let wife finish ,,, eeeeeewwwwww...

it is for max a/c only , applies vacum to it to shut colant to heater box on max ... will work fine with out ...

maybe that chemical mixture got to him ,god forbid , sounded kinda toxic to me .....

threaded rod down threw shock hole ,steel plate on top and bottom. crank nut down . i work at ford dealer and factory tool goes down middle of spring ...

im thinking gonna go with edelbrock intake , 650 holley carb , i do have a edelbrock carb but never liked the carter afb carbs ... slight bigger cam just to give little lope in idle and headers ... phase 1.....

i used one of the dash pad covers , installed way instruction said only glue in middle to allow it to expand and contract ,,, within month was melting and wrinkled , returned it now 2 years later got crack down middle ,,, dont recommend them to anybody .....

the only racing he will be doing is few trips to dragstrip .... he is just looking for little more then stock . headers and cam and intake ... nothing wild if im helping foot the bill .....

ok my son has new found interest in mustangs .. my dad gave me 73 fastback when i was 13 sold it many speeding tickets later .worst mistake ever did.... well i bought 73 grande 20 years ago and told my son kmichaud it would be his when old enough . well time has come to pass on the luv of 71-73...

my son is just learning his car talk forgive him , he is trying hard ... car is 73 302 2v with 3spd standard . 2,75 8 inch rear , stock dual exhaust ... installing 351c 2v with c4 tranny ,,, 9 inch rear,3.50 gears ,,,
