Just recently a thread was had where it was discussed about gas tank vent lines and how they are commonly removed. Additionally, another thread was recently had where the topic of when did the air cleaner snorkel have the shroud to a duct under the battery and what's its purpose. I thought I found one for sale and it was labeled "SHROUD AND TUBE, AIR CLEANER HEAT". I googled that and this video below is what I came across. I love the old dumbed down educational videos tell you how and why stuff works. I know that this is a Chrysler mechanics video, but it explains the tank vent lines, the snorkel flaps and this heat shroud I did not understand, beautifully. In 20 minutes I understand that combined working system so much better than had I set to to try and learn it. I recommend a watch for education if you don't already understand it inside and out.
