doesn't look too bad for $500. How are the floors, frame rails, wheel wells, trunk floor???

It has '73 tail lights. Looks like no a/c, no p/s. possibly standard drum brakes, no assist.

I see the turn signal switch plate hanging out of the steering column. Someone's been hacking on the car.

If not all rusty, definitely worth it just for parts even, if the panels aren't all beat to heck.

Floors will need to be replaced, they say the trunk is not rusty.

I just noticed that switch plate.....

Go through that thing with a fine-tooth comb. In the first picture the quarter panel looks rusted out; is that just paint sanded down?

Also in the ad he says $1500, not $500. Are you sure it's only $500?

Also, it looks like there is no interior at all, not even seats. That will be expensive.

Parts car or shell for a complete resto-mod. Even at $500, one will be in the soup a lot worse (cashwise) down the road if a reasonably stock or mildly warm build is planned.

The car would become my daily driver or if the engine is bad then I will just part it out.

Should I get it?
Only you can decide that. Don't expect to turn into a daily driver without lots of time and money, the $500.00 is just a drop in the bucket of what's it's going to cost, but if you have the time and experience then who knows...?

It's often better to shop around and pay a little more for one that has already been turned into a daily driver, lots of sellers out there are taking huge loses on what they actually have in them, especially if they count their time.

one think you need to look out esp for a coupe is for rust under the back window. we didnt find ours until it was too late and rotted the quarters
