My Car
1972 Mustang Mach 1
I've owned this beauty since 1984 but I've known the car since it was first delivered to the local Ford dealership in July of 1972. It's a Q code 351 backed by a top loader 4 speed. The interior is a deluxe sports interior with silver accents and a full length console. Magnum 500 wheels on the corners. I've added a few options over the years like the 1971 flip down gas cap. I've kept it this long and have no plans of ever parting with it until they bury me. I hope to live a long time.

Such a great story and very nice looking ride.

It's a shame that you can't take it out today.

Maybe you need to move west or south to be able to enjoy it year round.

Very nice car.

Another original owner! Great resource to help us understand how the cars were delivered when new.

Welcome from Oklahoma.

3 more years till I retire in North Carolina and she's going with me oh and my wife going too.
Where are you headed in N.C.? I live in the western part in Hendersonville. I have 8 Mustangs and will be glad to see more coming.

Beautiful I don't know why I didn't order green.

Probably the Outer Banks I have family there.

Well-done. Your 72 is gorgeous, something to be proud of; reflects your care and attention to detail; all the right options on a 72: beautiful color with argent accents, Q Code, deluxe interior, full console....welcome to the forum from west central fl

Well after what the Pastor said, I have Q Code envy! :dodgy: LOL

Welcome from North Georgia. ::welcome::

I grew up on the border of VA & NC and spent most of my young adult summers running from Duck to the Lighthouse looking for surf...

It that a vinyl top?

Welcome to the site.. Brings back memories a friend of ours had a 72 same color same engine ( which he ordered0, no vinyl top and just a plain hood. I had my 73 convertible (which I ordered) when I met him still friends but now he has a 90 Mustang 5.0 convertible..7up edition (low mileage car). Wishes he never got rid of his 72.
