It was sold again. This time at the Barrett-Jackson auction in West Palm FL a week ago. Despite the previous owner having spent $$$ on new paint, wheels and tires, adding dual exhaust and significant engine mods, it sold for a whopping $29,000 plus the 10% buyers fees. I think we all know who made money on this car and it was not the new owner or the seller. I think the highest bidder did not have any clue about the history of the fifty cars. I also think this confirms the one that sold at Mecum Indy in 2021 was an outlier and that selling one at a no reserve auction is a big gamble if the prospective buyers are clueless.
