Oooh!

1- Also for 73?

2- Can a 351C 2V with 2.75 Truetrac make stripes?
Answer to question # 2

Yes... go fairly fast in reverse, without braking shift to drive, as it shifts to drive FLOOR IT. AKA reverse roll back

It will either leave two marks, or make a loud noise when something in the drive train breaks :D
You mind if I do not follow your advice?  :chin:

Seriously, I have people say yes and people that say no so I still don't know

I have a C6 btw, no stick.
Well it was good advise when we were 16 - 17 years old ... probably not so much now

I think it will depend on the tires and road surface.

My '71 M-code Grandé w/toploader has a 2.75 "posi" and I can smoke the tires all day.

aren't there some slight differences between your M-Code, backed by a toploader and Vinnie's or mine H-Code, backed by a FMX? :whistling:

Maybe a couple of slight differences, yes.

2.75, traction loc and a C-6. Yup you can definitely leave two stripes.  My driveway alone proves that with no roll back,  Problem is hitting second on a wet road.  Be ready to correct!
