Glad to see you saved the car and not parted out. Looks really nice you did a great job on the restoration

I did try to sell my Boss after it was disassembled and I saw the level of restoration that would be required. I was willing to take half my investment in the car but had no takers. I had several "you need to come look at this" phone calls from the restoration shop and was becomming very discouraged at my purchase. I don't have the income for a $100k restoration yet that is what this project has become. However, as the Boss is nearing completion it has become very rewarding to see the progression.

@71TexasBoss any final updates on the build? Also, I’m glad you went back with the light pewter metallic color. Will you share your paint information, I am in the process of making some paint decisions for my build as well.

Sorry for the late reply. My restorer used PPG auto paint, Ford code V (see picture). He color sanded the fenders, doors, hood, trunk and body before they were reattached followed by a full buffing. When the car is reassembled I'll take it back for a final cut and buff.

It looks great! your painter really laid on a nice coat of paint with the wet sand and buff it looks like glass.
