My Car
71 Mach 1 red/black stripes 351. 2 v nearly going?
I have fitted a new concept one pulley kit with the new style compressor and am trying to get the AC operational. The car is factory air however it has not been operational for the ten years I have owned it due to missing compressor , brackets and condenser. I have all the parts fitted now and am in the process of having the hoses made and can't find the feed wire for the compressor. There is a wire just above the plug for the washer bottle harness that looks like it may be it but I can't get any voltage to it when I turn the ac on. Any info or a close up photo of the right fitting would be helpfull .

Will post some pics soon when I work out how??

Should be a small harness running along side the carb, on top of the intake manifold encased in a cloth loom. That harness contains the hot wire for the compressor clutch.
