Choke Clean Air Tube on Motocraft 2100 carb
I rebuilt my carb a couple of days ago and on removing it the choke clean air metal tube snapped off the manifold.
It's in too difficult a position on the manifold to drill out the small broken nub in it so the hole is free so I can slip the tube back into the manifold.
I wanted to ask is there an air flow inside the thin tube as I heard the manifold is just a blind cavity.
If there is no air flow and it is just conducting heat can I slip in a metal rod to bridge the two broken halves of the pipe and slip them together and still have it function correctly?
