2001 Sunfire that is falling apart haha.
Well here are a few pics of the of some of the classic American cars in Cuba. One thing you should know is that none of these have original engines. Most have diesel engines and they all come from non U.S. cars. Like Nissan's, Mazda's and Mercedes. Look at the ingenuity on the motorcycle hahaha they will fix something no matter how.

THANKS for the memories.

Those pictures remind me of the Philippines. I tell you, necessity is the mother of invention. I would think they would have some nicely preserved car bodies over there.

Again, Thanks for sharing.

Cuba must have been the other dumping ground for four door cars

in Australia we only got four door versions

no wagons

no two doors

no convertibles

and no hard tops

just your basic cars

and most were six cylinder models

with three on the tree gear boxes

I've always appreciated seeing any old car preserved no matter what the brand. Nothing like a real survivor with the homemade "fixes" to keep it going!

I think Cuba is the capital of survivors per square mile. I would say more than 55% are old American or Russian cars. The American cars are of course the oldest ones there.
