Dashboard refinish/ Paint

Hi all, I have a green dash pad that I can not find a replacement for I’m thinking of buying a new black one (only one I can find) and painting it. Any suggestions?

No suggestion on dying it but I just saw this NOS green one made of unobtanium!

I followed this example on my interior soft pads (dash, steering wheel pad and console li) with excellent results. We used avocado dye for our interiors. Your color on your 71 is medium green I think. But we’re a couple of examples of it working well.
