I have a 73 Mach 1 with 351c FMX trans. I was thinking an overflow tank but not sure. Any ideas?

Never seen that before. They did not come with a stock overflow tank. Someone may have added at some point.

I agree with you, it looks like an after market rad overflow bracket.

That was where the extra ammo box was mounted for the front mounted .30 cal.. lol.
