1973 Convertible, 351CJ, 5 Speed. Currently being restored. Projected finish date is some day.....
I'm re-assembling my steering column, and I'm having a terrible case of CRS. I can't remember if the wire harness for the turn signal switch goes here or not. I really shouldn't leave things disassembled for more than two days. Getting old sucks. I highly recommend staying young. Thanks!

Not sure if this is right but this is what mine looks like.
I think yours is correct. It just didn't feel right when I installed mine. Thanks for the pic.

 
If you want to keep track of how it goes together just buy another Mustang

Can you attach the wire harness connectors to the tree bracket? It looks like you are right on the money there! Man, I would love to find that bracket. I suspect that harness connector bracket was installed in the 73's.

Ok, The bracket is called a retainer, wiring harness. They were available for all 1971-1973. Looks like they changed after 06/25/1971.
