Don, I'm not telling you to do anything. If these were two dinged up examples, I'd probably get them. Someone is going to have a daily driver out there that they'll prefer not to risk mint ones on, and I happen to prescribe to that belief.

Furthermore, I try to save where I can. Not all of us can afford to have perfect trailer queens and have unlimited budgets, but it doesn't mean that we can't enjoy the hobby from a more frugal perspective.

Last I heard, people who do not allow others to partake in a hobby because of frugality are called elitists. I might add that they are generally the downfall of any one given hobby (Need an example? Model railroading).

Well, I was just poking some fun at the dinged up rings.

Had some on ebay - several years ago.

Everybody wants 10 pictures to see the smallest nicks, they all wanted mint ones.

Hey just an FYI

I don't have any trailer queens

All my cars are projects

Now I see where you're coming from - the eBay nag buyers again?

Trust me, try selling vintage road bicycle components. That's infinitely worse. You'll get the fires of hell even if you sell a perfect NOS part - someone will hang you via eBay's protection system by claiming that the part is missing some nut or bolt - which it never had.

I always default to worst-possible description: "Driver quality. Has nicks. See photos. Sold as-is."

Nags get blocked from bidding.

If anyone has any correct, "not so perfect" 15" trim rings - I need some!
There was a survivor '70 Boss 351 at the last Ft. Lauderdale Auctions America with them. Car was a wreck, but the 15" rings and caps were passable. How utterly frustrating!
