FEBRUARY 23rd, 2017. Mark it down as a FIRST!!! Stupid warm weather in SW Ontario, 65 degrees today. Our non-winter continues after getting off to a very cold and snowy start in December.
After getting the rebuilt power steering box and pump back in the other day, I finally gave in a took the Mustang out last night to our car group's coffee night. I have never in 8 years of owning it, even started it up in February let alone actually driving it. We usually don't get that luxury until the early part of April.
I needed to "test" the steering before putting it up on jack stands and stripping out the rear end for a repaint, new gas tank and lines and get the rear springs rebuilt. Again this work would not normally be possible until late March at least in an un-heated garage.
Can't wait to get diving again if we get an early Spring................ but winter can still bite us in the a** yet!!
