Headliner Questions

Ok, this next week I will be putting the headliner in. I have all of the books and the computer books showing how the window area chrome and headliner tack strip goes in but no order to it. I took the car apart over a year a ago and do not remember which goes first and at which time I need to install the tack strips. Any instructions would be appreciated.

I think you guys misunderstand. I have several metal parts that have to back on the car roof rail but I do not know what order they need to go back on. I also have 2 pieced of fiber board that went on these metal pieces that I cannot remember where they go. I thought I could trust the books and the software to make sure but they do not show up in any order. THanks

Hmmm. I reread my last. Folks that is what happens when you are killing brain cells with gin while trying to hold a conversation. Not so easy to understand. What I was having a problem with is the order I need to put all of the headliner retainer metal back in but I went back out last night and actually figured it out on my own after finding out that the mirror screws were missing. I bagged everything except screws I left in the screw holes that I thought the painter would not need to remove. I guess he needed to remove those ones. I actually wanted them painted. I will take pictures of the card board pieces so that you can tell me where those go because I do not have any ideas where I removed them from. The mirrors will go on today as well the exterior drip rail pieces. The other ones cannot go in until I have the vinyl roof on because they will prevent me from putting the roof chrome on.
