Hello from Germany - 1972 Mach 1

Thanks to all for the warm welcome!

@Carolina_Mountain_Mustangs : thanks for the answering of my next question in advance!

I dreamed about asking some kind of government agency about the former owners of this car. But now I know that this is useless.

The same with the netherlands: I learned that there is a government agency called "RDW" where all the vehicles are registered.

There is also a website https://www.rdw.nl, but I can't speak netherland language and so I understand nothing

But I assume it's the same with the privacy as in the states.

Only chance I have is to follow the chain of owners to the source. But this chain seems to be broken, because

Elmo John didn't know or didn't want to tell me where he got the mustang from.

Hello,

just bought a 1972 Mach 1 H-Code. Normally I drive a 2007 Shelby GT500

and my wife a 2005 Mustang Convertible

When we saw this black beauty by chance, we fell in love and we got to have it.

Still a lot to do, but I learn every day. Hope to find some help here.

One thing is the history of the car. Don't know nothing. The car was

sold by Dan Stanley Motors in Joplin / Missouri and then disappears

(for me) until 2015 when a guy from Germany bought it from a

shop in the Netherlands (Elmo John). Elmo John bought it from

an other guy from the Netherlands and that's all I know.

Don't know when it comes the netherlands or to whom it belongs

bevor.

Even don't know when somone did change the color of the car.

Initially it was "Light pewter Metallic", but now it's black.

Serial Numer is 2F05H175900. If anybody knows something about

this car - I will be very happy to hear it.....

Love the video wish we still had places to run flat out. Up until about 1972 there was no daytime speed limits in Nevada or Montana, 55 mph at night. Back then you could go 100 miles and never see anything, lol. I loved going there, lol. I have a family member that is Highway Patrolman will ask and see if there is a way to find out about the car. You might check with U.S. Customs and Customs in the Netherlands to see if they will share the export import info.
