Thaks to all for the warm welcome & compliments.I have always been a ford guy & wanted a mustang.Got this one 4 months ago -swapped my Harley. It's a 73 H code Mach 1,the guy that put together said it sat in a barn for 10 yrs with no motor-tranny and misc. missing parts.Nobody knew where the block went.It has a 460 & C6 from an RV with 40K on it.The block and heads are orig.He put in a summit timing chain set & mild cam.It has Crites headers ,summit exhaust, edelbrock perfomer intake, edelbrock 780 carb, procomp distributor. He chose to paint it 71 grabber lime green,it's wearing a mustang grille &mirrors until I can replace them .it has standard interior thats pretty good. She's a work in progress driver and that 460 is a lot of fun,but hard on gas & tires:)

Very nice looking mach 1. I like the green. How about a pic of the beastly engine.
Thank you!Not much for chrome under the hood, less polishing more driving right?

Very good looking mach sir!! And im sure that 460 gots some serious grunt;)....I think it has the standerd grill in it...Ever think of getting the original honey comb mach 1 grill for it?

Yes, she does have some giddy-up.Took my brother for a ride ,he just started laughing when @ 30mph I punched it and the tires just started roasting!Yeah,I can't wait to get the Mach 1 grille it's missing.Maybe Santa will leave a big bag of Pony parts.Ha Ha

Not sure I could let go of my Harley for one but then again I only rode about 50 miles this year and put a bunch on the Mustang since finishing it the first of the year. Still not sure I could pull that trigger:s

Gave up my bike 11 years ago after my daughter turned 4, for a 65 Malibu SS. Great decision.... I have two really nice cars now so when I raise the garage door....its iny miny miny mo. Oh occasionally I think about having a bike again after riding for nearly 20 years.... but that need diminishes quickly behind the wheel of a great MoosShTANG!

Yeah,it was tough letting go of the Harley.I have arthritis in my lower back ,so it's easier to spend an hour in the mustang than on the hog.I'll find another hog easier than a 73 mach 1 someday.Nice looking rides you've got.:)

Yeah its funny I have 3 bulging disc in my lower back along with degenerative arthritis and what the docs called severe spinal stenosis and my back usually feels better when I ride. Maybe the vibration not sure.
