Sorry to be a PITA, as I have asked this question before and gotten an answer.
I have a 72 302 that HAD a/c when I bought the car, but most of the essential parts were missing.
I removed everything mechaniclly a/c related, and went with just the heater for heat and windows for cooling.
I was told if I remove the control valve, I would have heat all the time because the core would have the heated fluid from the radiator all the time. Isnt that the same case with a non-a/c car?
I rebuilt and resealed the heater box, and my heat selector still has an a/c option on it which is now not going to be used.
What am I missing? Doesn't a non-a/c car always have hot fluid all the time? I have the radiator out now for repair and am going to replace all the hoses, radiator and heater. I do realize my car has only one fresh air vent also on the psgr side.
Thanks for your patience and answer:-/:huh::shootself:
