How do i replace the gauges?

My gauges are worthless, i just saw this guy in youtube swaping the oem gauges for VDO gauges using the same housing, he does not give a part number or kit number but i like the idea, any of you done anything like that? any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks!!

I hope you stick with analogue needles and in period...just don't go digital ... there isn't enough vomit on the planet for me to hurl  :poke:

Are you referring to the center gauges ( temp, oil pressure and amp) or the main cluster?

Are your gauges not working ( could be a bad IVR ) or not reading correctly ( could have them refreshed by the rocketman ) ?

Here is a U-Tube that goes over replacing the center gauges:



Instead of having to rewire the new gauges to 12v from the factory 6v and reshaping the gauge console, you could put in additional gauges and still keep the factory ones.

You would need to use additional senders for the new gauges, which isnt to much trouble.

Mine dont work, previous owner installed cheap ones but i want something better looking or rebuild the cluster some how
