How to install Centrol emblem three spoke steering wheel

what’s the best way to install this little bugger into the pad it’s really really tight

I found it very difficult to install mine, I had a hard time with getting the emblem in, but finally got it to go in by spraying water to use as a lubricant and got it in deep on one side and worked around the edge to get it in all the way around. I have to believe there is a better, more "correct" method but that is how I did it.
