Canadian Mercury pickups were fairly common.

How about a Pontiac Beaumont? Basically a Chevelle.

Or an '84 Dodge Dart/ Plymouth Valiant? Just a Canadian version of an Omni/ Horizon.

Or, a Canadian Buick pickup, just a rebadged Toyota SR-5.

Okay I feel like I just found out why I scored a 70 on a test that i knew EVERY other question to on ASE Certification......I NEVER heard of a Mercury pick up in the early 60's in FORTY YEARS of loving classic cars.

Dana - don't feel bad. On my trips to Mexico to visit friends and family I noticed a lot of similar but different vehicles. All Mustangs I saw were hardtops - most had the side stripes and "Mach 1" fender stickers both placed as normal on front fenders and with others placed on the rear quarter. I might have one pic somewhere...

For cars in the USA I can't discern many of the new cars to save my life. I have to look for the stinking badges or script to identify the manufacturers!!!!!!!
