The wife and I rode out to Leesburg (Fl) for thier bikefest this year. About a 250- mile round-tripper...nice ride, good time.

Plenty of good free live music. This year featured Vanilla ice ( ho hum), Jackyl and Uncle Kracker.

Right before the finale of the Jackyl show, Jesse ( lead singer) pulls a 10-year old kid from the front of the audience, who was holding a sign up that said "can I play guitar with you on Lumberjack?"

Jesse pulled him up on stage, showed the sign, made some chit-chat about working hard to one day get a chance to play on stage...the kid says "I can play now". Jesse takes off his giutar and says "show us what you got".

The kids plays a pretty good run of the songs rythym section, Jesse says "get him my black guitar!".

The kid plays along with them during the song...it was pretty cool.

I was 100% sure it was a set-up...seemed too unbelievable.

Walking back to my bike later to leave, who is walking up to thier car parked next to us? The kid (Andrew) and his father and his dad's friend. I said "great job", chatted a couple minutes. Turns out to be 100% legit, Jackyl has been his favorite band and his inspiration to learn guitar.. Pretty cool.

What 10-year old kid would ever forget being called onstage to jam with his favorite band?
