Hi folks, I'm missing this part that gets bolted onto the shock tower apron from wheel side. It goes over upper control ARM and I think its there to cover part of the coil spring for safety. I'm sure it doesn't effect anything on the suspension, but since I have it all opened up I may as well change it. Please see the image and let me know. Thanks,

Hi,

that's the outer shock tower cover. It is available as a repro part at most vendors, for example:

Wow, $50 bucks for a piece of metal that size? Do I have to bolt this on?

It is an important protection part down there!!... Besides, the stop bumper for your front suspension is located in it... In my opinion, it is an important shield there that prevents mud get stucked in your coil spring upper atachment etc...

Point well taken, thanks Uruguay!

Don at OMS may be able to sell you a used one cheaper than the reproduction.
