Hello,

Need the passenger side outside mirror for a 73 convertible. The driver's side is chrome finish not Satin. This Mustang did not originally come with a passenger side mirror. Thanks

I'm pretty sure, for 71-3's the only passenger side mirror was the painted sport mirror.

The original chrome mirror was a short base - VS 67 - 8 had a long base

I have a 67-8 reproduction mirror that is made to swivel enough to fit either side.

You will need to replace both to match the long base

I also have the metal riv-nuts to mount the mirror

Hello,

Want the passenger side for safety reason with the convertible top, hard to see on that side. Would rather not replace both. Here is a photo of the driver's side ... how close a match do you think they would be ? CJ has a match for the driver's that you can use on the passenger side, but the mirror would face a little lower because you have to flip it around. Thanks

DON will the the new long base mirror cover the old short base foot print ? do you need to do paint touch up ? thanks

67-8 mirror has a long base over 6 inches - it will cover the holes on short base 71-3 mirrors

No clue what cj says will fit. The short base for 69-70 and the 71-3 version will not pivot enough to see out of, if mounted on the RH side.
