Monroe #31069 - direct fit for competition/staggered shock setup?

'71 Mustang Mach 1 M-code "Soylent Green"
'69 Plymouth Valiant 100
'68 Plymouth Satellite
Parts interchange states the Monroe #31069 fits 71-73 (amongst other) Mustangs "w/o heavy-duty suspension;" yet, it is listed as the correct replacement for a 429 car.

I take it that the staggered shock setups use the same length shock on both sides then, correct? If so, I'm ordering a pair of these.

{crossed} Hope it goes smooth for ya.
Might be more difficult than the removal of the old ones, which don't have any rebound left in them. Made it easier to remove, but it looks like I'll have to play with the jack to get these in.

If only all tasks on a car were as easy as this one. Very simple and enjoyable job.
