need help with wire??...

As I have been putting my ol girl back together I found this plug with two wires to it just sitting there next to the brake booster and brake lines and see no where it could plug in and am curious what it os for??... both wires look to be purple with a white stripe??... any help would be greatly appreciated... I have attatched a picture to better describe the wire im talking about... thanks...
