Interesting passenger airbag options on some of those cars.......

Now that I took care of broadcasting my (and probably most other guy´s) manly take on the subject ;) , I wanted to share a story.

A buddy of mine has a kit Cobra, all plastic but with a 302 with GT40 heads and other goodies. He once took me for a ride in it and it was awesome. That thing accelerated like it was running on rocket fuel and I remember being worried about spreading my lunch all over the dashboard.

Still gives me goosebumps when I think of it.

I can relate. First off, I have to say I have no depth perception, which means I can't judge speed, distance, or even sizes of nuts and bolts.

I've been on an open track 3 times as a passenger, and each time it is extremely uncomfortable. At speed, one develops tunnel vision, which is certainly disconcerting. I think my biggest problem is that I'm not in control of the vehicle. The last time I was on the track, I asked to driver to pull into the pits and I got out. At no time did I call Ralph on the big white telephone or scream like a little girl...just uncomfortable in a bad way.
