I can relate. First off, I have to say I have no depth perception, which means I can't judge speed, distance, or even sizes of nuts and bolts.
I've been on an open track 3 times as a passenger, and each time it is extremely uncomfortable. At speed, one develops tunnel vision, which is certainly disconcerting. I think my biggest problem is that I'm not in control of the vehicle. The last time I was on the track, I asked to driver to pull into the pits and I got out. At no time did I call Ralph on the big white telephone or scream like a little girl...just uncomfortable in a bad way.
