Well, my rear hazards stopped working. Has new bulbs, tss. All other  hazards work, front and sides. Signal, running lights work, 1970!

Where do I begin?

The switch is new

I get pulsing  ground/ hot at plug in trunk when hazzard  are on

I have no brake light either, but get power at  terminal in trunk when pedal is depressed

It's a cougar

I even swapped the sequence box,  same issue, frigging weird

I've read that 10x

It's odd because the switch is new and the signals work, but no hazzard and brake lights

And I feel I am getting the right signal to the trunk.

I can't see 2 sequence box bad, doing the exact same thing

One of the most common problems on older cars is lack of good ground, the further from the battery the worse they can be.

To troubleshoot I would run a wire directly from the battery negative terminal to the rear of the car and connect it to the ground wire or terminal the lights and box are connected to.

Its a faulty turn signal cam rivet, so much for buying new. At least the Company was good about it, sending replacement at no cost

Glad it is figured out and they are taking care of it. Really drives me nuts when new parts are no good, but it happens.

Unfortunately, now more than ever, the old mantra from my pal Jim (former parts guy) rings true:  "New only means 'new.'  'New' doesn't necessarily mean 'good.'"

Glad to hear you chased it down!  ::thumb::
