The Perseids meteor shower is underway.
Should peak around 0400 hours EDT August 13th.
This shower usually includes many fireballs
and viewing in dark skies can produce around
100 hits per hour. Don't bother with binoculars
or a telescope. Just find a comfy lawn chair and
look up.
