Pertronix III Install question

Question on installing a Pertronix III. The directions mention removing the resistor from the positive coil wire. Where is the resistor? Any help is appreciated.

This relay uses the power from the resistor wire to open a direct connection between the positive and the distributor.

Hmmm. Interesting. Any experience with this? How does it wire up?

Using the relay reduces the under-the-dash and ignition switch electrical load, AND you don't have to eliminate or by pass the pink resistor wire. It's a straightforward installation, instructions are available on the Pertronix website:
