Hi guys;

I want to put the rear stabilizer back on the car, The p/o took it off and never put it back on., I never did this before so have a few questions.

1) does the stabilizer plate sandwich between the leaf spring and the botton shock mount?

2) how do I support everything since once I loosen and remove the U bolts on the rear axil it will slip on the spring

Where do I jack it to do it safely , are jack stands needed? where shoud these things (the jack or the jack stands) be placed?

AJ

Block the front tires well. The plate sandwiches with the shock plate under the spring. The rear end will stay in place because of the center stud that the rearend housing sits on on top of the spring. Your best place to use a floor jack is under the ring and pinion housing. Place jack stands under the torque boxes at the front end of the springs and lower the car just enough to put some weight on the stands.

Do the final tightening at the plates last after the car is back on it's wheels
