The photos were taken at the shop that restored both cars, in Oklahoma. The shop does mostly Shelbys, Boss 302s and 429s, 428 Mach 1s. He also has an E type Jag and two vettes in the shop at the moment. He does amazing work. the combined estimated value of the two Shelbys in the picture is $4.5 million. Chuck
Now that is an amazing find! How nice... did those happen to be shipped up from Mckinney Tx when they closed down Shelby's warehouse??? I may have actually seen those cars back in 94. They packed up and moved all the cars out but I never knew where. I was involved in the reconfig of the warehouse for Blue Mountain the new owner of the warehouse bought from Shelby
I don't know the path they have travelled, only their current situation. The level of these restorations is extraordinary, as are the cars. It turns out the person who originally flared the fenders on the R model was still alive and they flew him to Oklahoma to recreate the flares.
