Wow NICE WORK!
Thanks Mark..... it took me 6 years to do that car. It was missing EVERY possible good part you can imagine. finding parts for those cars is near impossible. I have to laugh though. I occasionally get links from friends letting me know about 65 SS cars for sale. I politely say...uhhh NO thanks. Dont want to go through that again. :D

So many 65's were used for drag racing and they REALLY love them for circle track!!! In fact I had a friend in Orlando that offered me 800 for the frame of a donor car and the "air cooled powerglide". he had done so many favors for me I gave them to him after I stripped the donor car.

short story he let me use his shop to strip the donor car. one saturday he walks over to the bay he let me use. "Dang Dana... remind me to never leave a car on the side of the road you've stripped that car like a professional" ::chili::

I miss it from time to time because when you hook 400 hp to a powerglide your in for hook'm . I only ran it once against a 2005 Mustang GT. He ask if I was running a 454!! I said no...just a sb350 and a powerglide. Poor guy didnt understand what a powerglide would do to him. :D

But I have an awesome Mach I so I dont miss her too much
