Hey guys, just got done with the 2bbl to 4bbl swap and my drop down air box won't fit over the 4300 Mototlite Carb. I would like to be able to afford a true Ram air plentum box and cleaner, but money is not there now (although I may win the lottery). I would like recommendations of a straigt cleaner that will be cost effective, look decent, and do good job. Is a K&N worth the extra over a standard Ford Racing? Other options?

Thanks,

JB

I think both of those will be fine.
X2... If you want to go with the Ram air eventually I wouldn't invest a ton of money on something you are going to replace.
x3...I would get an original 60's up to 80's Ford V8 air cleaner assembly for now. Plentiful and they don't cost much if you cleverly search for them and not look specifically for our year. Trucks, T-Birds, Cougars, Torinos etc.. all used em ;)
