shoulder harness mount How are the belts held up?

What is used to keep the shoulder eblts above the drivers head when not inuse?  My car has been apart for so long I have forgotten

The wire form goes up above the window to hold the harness. If your harness is missing the plastic piece that makes it snap in place Ford had a recall on the plastic piece breaking and falling apart. The Ford fix was to install two rubber o-rings in the place of the plastic part. I found someone on ebay that had a bunch of them and posted a like about a year ago. You might do a search so you can see what you need. You can just go buy the O-rings and do it yourself. The stay fastened fine with the O-rings.

Yes, they were factory.

However, I replaced mine with 3-point belts, also from NPD:

Much safer, and I don't have to worry about the shoulder part coming down and whacking me in the head, or anything.

Those are very nice but I just spent $650 to have my belts restored!!
