No fasten seat belt lite above glove box? 71? or 73?

71-72 tail lights?

No fasten seat belt light over glove box. Just 'Belts" light to the left of the headlight switch. I found these tail lights in a box of old car parts at their house, along with TONS of other parts, enough points/condensers, dist caps, carb kits, etc for three tune-ups. Also found another set of the rear bumper vertical posts, 3 sets of "MUSTANG" letters, misc switches, lights, gaskets, grommets, etc. My Uncle Vic was always prepared and also a scavenger...now I know where I get it from...

They are 73 tail lights.

73 tail lights dont have the black on them, these do

the ones on the car have black (71-72) the ones he found in a box don't have black in them (73)

I also noticed the Trunk lid has the mustanfg lettering, that was 71, they used script lettering on the right side in 72-73.

Found a bunch of the trunk letters too. Like three sets. Also, I checked the vin on the driver's side fender apron with an inspection mirror as another thread suggested...great trick. IT'S A GIRL!!! And a '71...

Looks like your trunk letters (in the first picture of this thread) were customized too. Your great uncle must have had a lot of fun making this Mustang his own!
