Have an ID question :
I have a 1971 mustang coupe ,302,3speed standard . I found this in my pile of parts
( see pics. ) I think it’s my reverse light
Switch ? Would like to confirm. Or ID.
It eather way would like to know, any help would be great thanks If it is the reverse switch need help on how to install it .
Memory is not what it used to be !
I do remember back around 1983 replacing the trans. ( lost 2nd gear , young and dumb
And having fun ! And don t think I needed reverse lights

At the shifter under the car. The reverse arm depresses the switch as you shift into reverse
