Six years ago I was on the road this week. Back then it was Katrina prompting the travel. This week it's just work...headed to St. Louis. The drive and Irene being in the news prompted the previous thought I suppose.

That was one week that changed my life forever and still haven't fully recovered from that storm.

I've heard Katrina come up several times during the news coverage of Irene. Hopefully that week changed your life in some positive ways too.

The 1972 Hurricane Agnes was the most devastating to me here in Virginia and I still have quite a few memories of it, both good and bad.

Yes, lots of good things afterward, not immediately afterward but within a year or two. The hard part was my house getting destroyed and all the pictures & stuff. My 65 vert was totally under water. That sucked pretty bad too.

Hey thanks. I'm just a regular guy trying to provide for my family and raise up some good kids. God's grace is sufficient & His blessings are sweet despite myself usually getting in the way.
