What tool do you guys use the clean the female part of the harness plug. I seem to need this tool often. I guess there are ones for round and flat ?

What tool do you guys use the clean the female part of the harness plug. I seem to need this tool often. I guess there are ones for round and flat ?

I guess they make them but I use steel wool on a small drill bit to clean them. Put some of the connector lube on the plugs to keep them from corroding again.

I use the lube that goes on spark plug wires on my light sockets on the camper and have not had a light go out in 3 years due to corrosion. Also in my 73 vert that I pulled the entire harness out and cleaned and wrapped and put back.

That will work, I remember using some sort of small file , maybe tiny wire brush thingy to clean them out, sux to get old.......
