Thanks. I did see one one CJ for a similar price with free shipping too.

I am tempted to just put a sheet of 18g steel in there. It would cost significantly less (about $20), wouldn't be too hard to fit, and it wouldn't look factory (but it would be hidden by carpet anyway?)

Absolutely! I was facing the same dilemma and was dreading a full trunk pan replacement. Searching the past posts I found one by Mad Irishman looking for metal to fix his trunk. So I asked him what he eventually decided to do and he posted the below awesome response with great pictures of each step he took. So grateful for the members on this forum. So I'm following his lead on this. Maybe this will help you if you've not already seen the post.

Me too. People here have been monumentally helpful. That post is useful, lot's of good stuff in there for when I tackle this. I'll need to look at mine again to see how bad it is, but if I remember correctly it's similar to yours and maybe slightly worse. It's hard to tell because there's surface rust on there, but I do see a few pinholes.
