Vinyl roof colors and template?

I'm taking my stang in tomorrow for a new vinyl roof. I can't find what the original color is supposed to be and I'm wondering if there is a template that the guy can use, do they usually have those things or is it best for me to provide one for them?

Did your car have a vinyl roof stock? If so...The color should be stamped on the buck tag under the fender on the support....If it was dealer installed...There wont be a color on there...But if it came with one like mine did from the ford factory....It will be on the buck tag...."if you still have the buck tag under there"..And you will notice on the picture im posting...It says WHITE on it...That stands for the vinyl top color.

As you can see, it depends on the exterior color of your car as to what vinyl roof colors were available as a factory option.

No problem...If the tag is there still...It will show you what color for sure came on your car from the factory.....Instead of just guessing...but guessing and picking a color you like is just fine too

My tag is long gone. Bummer. I'm pretty positive that she came with the vinyl, I can't imagine that anyone would really put that on as an afterthought. I love the feature now just because it makes the car what is is, unique. Whoever had her before me was trying to restore her to stock. Me, not so much. I'd like to keep the colors right though to give it the base she started from, it'll make the customizations pop a little more in my opinion.

Vinyl roofs were dealer options as well...in that case they would not be on the buck tag.
