I am looking for a used moulding for the top or bottom for the 1973 Mach one style grill!

Thanks

Mustang
I think I have them just finding will be issue. I cannot un stack the bins to look for it with disc crushed in my neck. I will walk around and see if I spot them. They do repo them also. Do not know how they fit. I complained personally to Daniel Carpenter his repo clips for the trim are too small and will not hold it on the grill. You have to bend the stainless to get it to stay on.

Hello David,

I completely understand! I believe the 71-72 grill trim is thinner! The 73 grill trim is wider! I have a set of two with one thin and one wide. That makes me wonder about my NOS clips I have. Please let me know if find the wide pieces! I hope get well soon!

If David can't find his, let me know and I will run down to the garage and look for one for you.

The repro trim for the 73 grille is made on the original Ford tooling

EDIT... not sure when it changed but Carpenters upper / lower trim D3ZZ-8419-C is NOT OE tooling anymore - they are imported

The LH and RH side ones still are USA made on OE tooling

Motorcity Mike, upper and lower are the same on 73 D3ZZ-8419-C is the Ford # so you have him covered ::thumb::

Mustang 7173 - Mike has what you need and is good to deal with.

If you have 3 used - get the the 4th one used from Mike so it is a better match VS a new one and 3 used

We have ones made in North Carolina at Daniel Carpenters shop on the original Ford tooling - only complaint I have had is when UPS bends them, they don't fit well

There is a imported version by another manufacturer

I cannot carry the extension ladder in so I can get to the storage area. I have them but cannot get to them. This sucks doing nothing.

Hello David,

I appreciate your efforts in looking for me. Please do not aggravate your back with this. I do understand how this does suck not being able to get around like we use too. Just do not loose that brain and knowledge of the Fords you have.

Thank you many times!

David Edwards
